Due to the Covid - 19 situation we feel we have no alternative but to cancel the walk next Saturday, 21st March 2020.
All walks in the immediate future are also at risk. We will keep you informed as soon as we're able to continue.
If at all possible go for a good brisk walk on a regular basis.

March 2020 Walk - Aldsworth
Date: Saturday 21st March 2020
Meet: The Sherborne Arms, Aldsworth, Cheltenham GL54 3RB
Time: 10.15am for 10.30am start
Length: just over 6 miles
Route: circular North East of Aldsworth towards an ancient
hill fort, Windrush Camp, and back across a WW2 training camp landing
Extra care: short section of B4425 can be busy so will require single file and concentration!
Terrain: some gentle inclines
Boots: advisable whatever the conditions
Dogs: well behaved welcome but on leads if near livestock
Lunch: about 1.30pm at The Sherborne Arms

February 2020 Walk - Bloxham
Date: Saturday 29th February 2020
Meet: car park of the Elephant and Castle, Humber Street, Bloxham OX15 4LZ
Time: 10.15am for 10.30am start
Length: just over 5 miles
Route: circular via Milton and Bloxham Grove
Terrain: fairly flat, a few stiles and some of the paths cross fields where the sticky mud sticks to boots, other parts are on a hard surface or grass so the sticky bits are interspersed with easier bits.
Boots: advisable whatever the conditions
Dogs: well behaved welcome but on leads near livestock
Lunch: about 1.15pm at the Elephant and Castle
Charity collection: Arthritis Action the only UK charity offering hands-on, practical help for people with arthritis to improve their quality of life whilst living with the condition.

Route: circular
Letcombe Bassett, gentle slope up to go along The Ridgeway to an iron age fort, Segsbury Camp/Letcombe Castle before returning to Letcombe Regis.
Terrain: muddy

December 2019 Walk - Finstock
Date: Saturday 28th December 2019
Meet: car park of The Plough, The Bottom, Finstock OX7 3BY
Length: just over 5½ miles
Route: circular from Finstock through Fawler and on to meet the Oxfordshire Way to get to the edge of Charlbury back to Finstock through Cornbury Park
Terrain: fairly flat but there are sections of it that are very muddy and slippery that makes the going a bit tricky.
Boots: essential to have boots that have good tread on the soles to give as much grip as possible and good ankle support throughout.
Dogs: well behaved welcome but on leads if near livestock
Lunch: about 1.30pm at The Plough

November 2019 Walk - Lewknor
Date: Saturday 30th November 2019
Meet: The Leathern Bottle, Lewknor near. Watlington OX49 5TW
Time: 10.00am for 10.15am N.B. earlier start time
Length: about 6 miles
Route: circular through part of Aston Rowant Nature Reserve
up Bald Hill then down between Shirburn Hill and Shirburn Wood to the
Oxfordshire Way then back to Lewknor via The Ridgeway
Terrain: one fairly steep section but with great views and
the trees may still have their autumn colours. Then downhill to tree
lined, gently undulating Ridgeway.
Boots: advisable whatever the conditions
Dogs: well behaved welcome but on leads if near livestock
Lunch: about 1.30pm at The Leathern Bottle
