March 21st 2020 Walk Cancelled

Due to the Covid - 19 situation we feel we have no alternative but to cancel the walk next Saturday, 21st March 2020.

All walks in the immediate future are also at risk.  We will keep you informed as soon as we're able to continue.

If at all possible go for a good brisk walk on a regular basis.

Keep safe and stay healthy!

March 2020 Walk - Aldsworth

Date: Saturday 21st March 2020

Meet: The Sherborne Arms, Aldsworth, Cheltenham GL54 3RB

Time: 10.15am for 10.30am start

Length: just over 6 miles

Route: circular North East of Aldsworth towards an ancient hill fort, Windrush Camp, and back across a WW2 training camp landing

Extra care: short section of B4425 can be busy so will require single file and concentration!  

Terrain:  some gentle inclines

Boots: advisable whatever the conditions

Dogs: well behaved welcome but on leads if near livestock

Lunch: about 1.30pm at The Sherborne Arms

Charity collection: Comic Relief which fights inequality wherever it is to create a better, fairer world free from poverty
