Meet: car park of The Greyhound Inn, Main Street, Letcombe Regis, near Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12 9JL

Time: 10.15am for 10.30am start

Length:5½ miles

Route: circular

Letcombe Bassett, gentle slope up to go along The Ridgeway to an iron age fort, Segsbury Camp/Letcombe Castle before returning to Letcombe Regis. 
Terrain: muddy

Boots: advisable whatever the conditions

Dogs: well behaved welcome but on leads if near livestock

Lunch: about 1.30pm at the Greyhound Inn
