The next walk will be the 100th BBC
Oxford walk and it’s been decided that we should try and get 100 walkers to
take part. With the publicity that’s planned we could possibly reach our
target! Certainly there will be far more than the usual number.
Obviously planning a walk with 100 walkers in mind is going to take some
organising. Although we had a walk in mind for January we’ve decided it’s
not a suitable location for such a large group.
So it's been decided to do the 100th walk on February 27th. To
maintain the integrity of the BBC we won’t do a walk in January. The walk
that was planned for this month will probably be done in March.
I’m sorry that we’re not able to do a walk in
January but I’m sure you appreciate the problems with the logistics of
organising such a large group and we have to be seen to be accurate in our
counting!
